Who We Are
Chelsea Home Healthcare was birthed out of compassion for the needs of helpless clients we met in our voluntary civic outreach we started in our parent company, Chelsea Investments, Inc., as our way of giving back to the Tampa Bay community. We encountered some desperation among the physically and mentally challenged – those with special needs. We visited several Assisted Living Facilities and Group Homes.
There, we met disabled persons who would rather be in their private homes. We deliberated on how to help better and decided to start a Home Health Care Agency business that is attuned to assist in alleviating some ills and shortcomings that we have realized in taking care of the disabled.
Chelsea Home Healthcare was registered as a DBA to our parent company by mid-2021 and began practical work in February 2022. Our first aim is to interview each new client, guardian, and family relations, if available, to establish a complete package of requirements for that particular client’s caregiving and develop plans to satisfy those requirements.
By the same token, we find certified, humane, and compassionate caregivers, from Registered Nurses (RN), Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA), and offer them internal training based on the needs of the particular client they will serve as caregiver. We are happy with our client’s satisfaction. We are therefore motivated to extend the practice from theory to the practical – giving new caregivers hands-on training with individual clients.
We are licensed and certified as a provider for the Agency for People with Disability (APD), Medicaid, and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), for Skilled and non-Skilled Nursing, Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapies, Home Health Aide, Personal Support, Respite, Homemaker, and Companion services.
